How Does a Dock Stocker Battery Work?
The dock stocker battery relies mainly on lithium-ion battery technology, which consists of a positive electrode, a negative electrode, an electrolyte and a diaphragm. In the process of charge and discharge, lithium ions move back and forth between the positive and negative electrodes, which is the core mechanism of the mutual conversion of electrical energy and chemical energy.
When the battery is charged, the external electrical energy drives lithium ions from the positive electrode, through the electrolyte and diaphragm, embedded in the negative electrode material (mostly graphite or other carbon materials) internal storage. When the battery is discharged, lithium ions are released from the negative electrode and returned to the positive electrode through the electrolyte and diaphragm, while electrons flow through the external circuit to provide continuous power to the dock stocker.
